HellaYoga Bali Retreat December 2016

updatedBaliFlyerWeb

I am so excited to announce my 2nd Yoga Bali Retreat for December 4th – 10th, 2016. I feel so much love and gratitude for the Island of the Gods. Over the past few years I have connected with Balinese people as well as travelers while visiting this beautiful place. I have traveled all around the globe and my mission is to truly experience the culture and country wherever I am. My vision of a “perfect” journey is to explore the unknown and turned it into the known. I like to experience the country or city I am visiting out of the eye of a local. What I mean by that is that I stay away from the touristy areas as much as possible; allowing myself to dive deeper into the true culture and essence of the place I am visiting.

This is exactly my vision when I host retreats. I will take you around the Island of the Gods, Bali, to experience the beautiful villages, lush forests, mystic temples, traditional Balinese ceremonies and much more. I work closely with the villages we are visiting, the places we are staying as well as tour buses we are using. My partner in Bali, who will be with us during the retreat and is by far the BEST tour guide, will make certain that everything is running smoothly prior to our arrival. We facilitated our first retreat in December 2015 which was a great success. Our goal is to show you Bali the Balinese way.

HellaYoga India Retreat November 2016

2016_IndienFlyer

India – a country of many colors, senses, beauty in various forms and so much more. India has always been on the top of my list of places to visit, explore, experience and to be and I made this dream reality last year. I felt so much excitement for this journey of a life time dream that I had no expectations of what to expect or how it could be. I promised myself to experience India with a pure and open heart and to trust the higher spirits of mine to guide me through the country I have always dreamed off. From the moment I stepped foot onto Indian ground I felt safe, loved and beyond blissful. My eyes very stunned by the chaos of Indian roads. I remember sitting in a car of a dear friend who picked us up from the airport; en route to the hotel we stayed at. The craziness and collective osmosis of cars, rickshaws, buffalos and pedestrians on the road was insane. Something I have definitely never experienced. My eyes were taking it all in and even in this craziness, after a 25 hour flight, my body exhausted, MY HEART WAS IN THE RIGHT PLACE! I felt so much happiness and gratitude as I experienced these first minutes of India. I know it might sound crazy but there is something about it. The humbleness and happiness of the locals was a true gift. For some of you crazy roads might not speak to beauty, which in the norm, I prefer walking then driving in the craziness, but it was India and the energy I felt as I was welcomed by the locals. My time in India was shaped by visits to the Taj Mahal. Majestic! Beautiful! Full of Love! My eyes couldn’t even believe the pure beauty it embodied. My hands had to touch it to make certain that it was real. The vibrance of the traditional clothing was eye taking. The beauty of people was radiating. The food was delicious – and I have to admit I am a picky eater but I found the food to be delightful. I experienced riding a rickshaw throw the narrow streets of Chandni Chowk. Taking in the smells of different herbs, spices and whatever was in the air. It was raw beauty what I felt. I spend a few days in Delhi but then found my way up North to Rishikesh and that’s where my HEART started to blossom even more (if it was possible). The vibrations of the Himalayas was heart taking. The sky so blue. The greens so lush. I found my place. I went water rafting on the Ganges River – my heart jumped. I bathed in the Ganges River, the goddess of purity. My HEART felt at peace. I picked up a few things along the way: fresh sandalwood and incense. Beauty. I stayed at an Ashram right on the Ganges River. Meditated in the fields as the sun was rising above the mountains. I was flying. It was so surreal to even think that this was my life. Gratitude! I was taking in by locals with so much love and excitement for the excitement I felt! Much more GRATITUDE radiated out of my heart! I can keep going about what I experienced in India but I believe that my experience will always be a story for you. Allow yourself to make my story your own experience. The beauty of life is that we can shape it. Create it. Live it.

I enjoyed my time in India with all my heart and thats what I would like to give forward. The beauty. The love. The simplicity. And all of the above what India offers. My upcoming retreat will only cover a piece of the land but it will give you a great understanding what India, especially the Northern part of it, is about.

I look forward to sharing my experience with you. Namaste and love to your heart.
